DFID: Designed new “Energy Access Debt Fund” to unlock new capital for frontier market off-grid energy access

Strategy and fund structuring for DFID, to design a new "Energy Access Debt Fund" designed to unlock new capital for frontier market off-grid energy access. Our work involved upfront market research, followed by financial product design, fund governance and fund financial modeling, identifying potential fund manager, and fund implementation planning (including operational manuals). The fund was successfully deployed and is currently managed by BII.
