USAID IAM GLI: Supported gender inclusive agri-SMEs across Uganda

Through USAID’s Feed the Future Inclusive Agricultural Markets Activity (IAM), we conducted research advancing learnings on gender lens investing (GLI) in agriculture. Specifically, we developed customized GLI investment criteria for the agricultural sector and delivered business development support to a dozen gender inclusive agri-SMEs in Uganda, supporting them to improve their strategies and operations (including making them more climate focused), introduce gender policies internally and in their value chains, and to become investment ready and close deals.
