Shell Foundation Uganda Mobility: Increased access to affordable transport for low-income communities in Uganda

Designed and implemented the Kampala Integrated Transport Demonstration Pilot, funded by Shell Foundation. The 15 month pilot sought to increase access to affordable transport for low-income customers by linking public sector mass transit and private sector paratransit companies. Our work resulted in several new transportation links between Uganda Railways Corporation and private-sector mobility partners focused on first- and last-mile connections.
