Congratulations to Sun King on its landmark $130M securitization, the first of its kind in Kenya, which will provide financing and therefore clean energy access for one million customers.

Open Capital and Power Africa advised Sun King on the design strategy for this securitization, including analysis and review of structuring options. Our goal was to set the groundwork for Sun King to attract large institutional investors and reduce hurdles to this first-of-a-kind deal.
