Open Capital announces Nathalie Gogue Ebo as new Partner

Originally from Togo, Nathalie joined the firm in 2019 with 15 years of experience in management consulting globally, having worked in >20 countries including 15 African countries. From 2019, Nathalie led Open Capital’s expansion in West Africa, first in Nigeria and then to Cote d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Ghana. Under her leadership, we have grown our West Africa offices to over 30 full-time team with strong experience across >100 engagements in both Anglophone and Francophone markets.

We are thrilled to announce Nathalie Gogue Ebo’s election as Partner at Open Capital Advisors. Nathalie joins Annie Roberts, Andreas Zeller, and Neil Wood and is Open Capital’s fourth Partner, responsible for stewarding our mission, our impact, and our full-time team of more than 150 across 7 country offices in Africa.

Nathalie also leads our Gender Smart Approaches practice, where she has served as a thought partner to many global organizations who support Africa’s women-led & gender-smart businesses. She played a key role raising the >$420M that Open Capital has mobilized for these businesses. Nathalie has deep expertise in agriculture, energy access, water and sanitation, and investment readiness, in addition to her gender smart expertise. She sits on the steering committee of the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE)’s West Africa Chapter and has represented Open Capital at several global convenings.

Prior to Open Capital, Nathalie worked with Monitor Deloitte in the US, where she advised various U.S. Fortune 500 companies and leading donor agencies and then at Sahel Consulting, as an Associate Partner in Africa developing strategies and implementing programs aimed at unlocking Africa’s agriculture potential. Nathalie holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University as well as a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Industrial Engineering from the Université du Québec, Trois-Rivières and from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is bilingual in English and French.
