Crystal joins Open Capital’s senior leadership with over 10 years experience supporting investment and strategy in countries across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Her growth at Open Capital has seen her lead and support a portfolio of innovations that exist in the nexus of private and public investment to catalyze ecosystem development across multiple sectors and geographies. She has additional focus on energy transitions, climate finance, and infrastructure.

Prior to Open Capital, Crystal worked in institutional finance for both private and public sector investors in the UK and East Africa driving work on structuring and managing portfolios for pension finance in emerging markets. She holds an MSc in Sustainable Development and an MSc in Actuarial Science.
