Open Capital Advisors is launching a program to provide subsidized rapid-access analytical support to help business leaders navigate difficult strategic questions and manage constrained resources in the context of the ongoing pandemic. With the support of our partners, this program will provide capacity-constrained leaders with the analytical support they need to make decisions, carry out COVID-19 scenario planning, manage operations and supply chains, and implement business continuity plans for the next 12-24 months.
We plan to support 30 African businesses over the next 12 months and are seeking organizations that could benefit from immediate strategic or analytical support around:
• Cash flow management
• Talent management and team safety
• COVID and post-pandemic scenario planning
• Operational and supply chain restructuring, and
• Business model adaptation to take advantage of new opportunities
Our program gives organizations the opportunity to contribute whatever resources they can in these times while allowing our consultants to support those with the greatest need for strategic and analytical support. Our subsidy is based on the organization’s prior year revenues and investment, or grant funding received to date.
We seek organizations that have a clear and immediate need for strategic and/or analytical support; are in anglophone sub-Saharan Africa (including Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, and Nigeria); are formally registered and have been in operation for a minimum of three years; have a founding team or management team from the country of operations; and have activities that generate income and/or employment for the bottom of the pyramid, and/or benefit women, youth, or farmers.

In your summary, please include your current team size, your 2019 revenue, and the total external capital you have raised to date (debt, equity or grants).
